Jake & Alyx’s wedding was an incredible day. The love they have for each other, from family and between friends is truly infectious.
Not to mention, they probably had the best live music & dead-serious dance crowd we’ve seen in a long time! We’re so honored to have been a part of it all. Here are a few favorites from their beautiful wedding at Le Méridien.

We’ve been overly excited to shoot Jenn & Lee’s wedding, on 9/10/11, since the moment they dished out the details. You’ll remember Jenn and Lee from our engagement session post we posted a few months ago.
Held entirely outside at her close friend’s beautiful home, Jen handcrafted every detail of the day. From scrabble board table settings, to photos of their favorite authors at each table, all the details offered a unique insight into their relationship.
Jenn, Lee…It’s obvious how incredibly loved you both are. Thank you for letting us be a part of your (literally perfect) day!
Miss Catie Mae turns the big “2.0″
The always adorable Catie Mae celebrated her 2nd birthday with us (all the way back in August). We’ve been lucky enough to photograph Catie from first birthdays to Christmas cards – but this was our favorite shoot by far!

Well once again, we found ourselves shooting against the heat this weekend. Jenn and Lee braved the 100+ degree afternoon to take us through Amish country, more specifically the “Amish Loop”, a scenic route they like to run through the sleepy Lancaster countryside. I should mention that it’s only ‘sleepy’ when you don’t get too close to the bulls, otherwise things tend to get real. Lesson learned.
Jenn’s been a friend of my family for years now, so we’re honored to be photographing their wedding this September. The wedding is at a beautiful farm that belongs to her family friend. Jenn has been painstakingly handcrafting all the details and decorations. We can’t wait to see how it all comes together!!
No better way to start off our first blog post than with the very fun, very sweaty (it’s 100+ degrees in Philadelphia…) engagement shoot with Jake & Alyx!
We met Jake 2 years ago when he helped us find our amazing house. We reconnected recently, got to befriend his fantastic fiancé, and couldn’t be more excited about shooting their wedding this fall at Le Meridien!
We spent the afternoon with J & A running around the city, taking intermittent (car) air conditioner breaks, and have a great time.
